Chief Financial Officer of Atos Worldline

Investment is central to the strategy of Atos Worldline. Investment precedes and supports contracts as they are fulfilled. It allows the company to create the conditions that illustrate its difference and its excellence. In a profession like ours, the quality of your investments determines the degree of your success in the long term, and so we make our investments based on three principles:

» Proactivity, i.e. the ability to anticipate trends and to seek to improve existing systems as a matter of principle
» Independence, which gives us the means to propose solutions that we fully control in order to ensure a top quality service for all our customers
» Conviction, or the willingness to invest, whatever the economic conditions, in a long term vision, in solutions for tomorrow, and in a production tool with continually improving efficiency.

Production management focuses much of our investments. Our processing capabilities are continuously increasing to adapt to new standards or the increasing volumes of information processed. But over and above mass investment, Atos Worldline favours a logic that is both smart and sustainable, based on making the most of our infrastructures throughout their service life.

This approach has several objectives. One of course is to be one step ahead in order to acquire a key competitive advantage on the market, but it is also designed to save our customers from taking unnecessary risks. They rely on us to take the best technology options and adopt solutions that are both innovative and secure. More generally, our strategic investments are leveraged to cope with the steady growth in the number of transactions, transaction management has continued to expand, and we continuously anticipate the growth in these needs by expanding our processing capabilities accordingly. Atos Worldline invests in many other sectors (see below): whether in data centres, software development or upstream research, all are considered to be key areas for us to ensure impeccable service.

Investing in our employees

Training is one of yhe priorities of Atos Worldline

Two thirds of our employees took training courses. From foreign languages to new programming languages, the courses proposed and taken enable the entire business to grow. Continuous improvement of our skills and competencies is a strategic investment for Atos Worldline. An investment which helps increase employee loyalty and the creation of a center of excellence with no equivalent in Europe.
